According to the Anglo-Saxon calendar, Halloween is the night between October 31st and November 1st, when spirits and witches meet the Saints. The English word "HALLOWEEN" dates back the Middle Ages when, in the Lands of Northern Europe, the domain of the Celts, the words "All Hallows" meant "all saints." From its ancient origins to our current tradition and folklore: Halloween is presently celebrated in many countries around the world, including Italy, and, during the famous witches night, children and grown-ups have fun putting on their Halloween costumes, and playing jokes, games, cobwebs, scary pumpkins.
